Low Fat Diet...
There is a lot of program introduced in the market on how to lose extra fats in your body as well as exercises that can help you eliminate or maintain your weight. A wide variety of exercises are available for your needs and depend on what part of the body you want to get rid of fats from. This is why Low Fat Diet came into place.
Low Fat Diet is a diet that consists of a small amount of fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. It is important to note that dietary fat is needed for good health, as fats supply energy and fatty acids, in addition to supplying fat-soluble vitamins. This diet is not limited to a certain age group as most kids have too many fats in their diet nowadays with the availability of instant food in the market. The individual food habit intake is usually the reason for obesity which later on awakens the idea of a low-fat diet to restore the desired weight.
Saturated fats are fats from animal products such as meat, dairy, and eggs, some plant-based sources such as coconut, palm, and palm kernel oils which must be eaten in moderation. There is an unsaturated fat as well, which has two types. First is Monounsaturated fat which is liquid at room temperature, however, it solidifies at a cold temperature. This is the most preferable type of fat compared with the other. This can be found in nuts, peanut oil, canola oil, olives, olive oils, and avocados. The second is Polyunsaturated fat which can be found in corn, soybean oils, cottonseed, sesame, and safflower. This type of fat can also reduce the level of LDL cholesterol but too much intake of it can also lower your HDL cholesterol. It is also a good idea if you make some of these Low Fat Diet food lists available: pineapple, pears in a light syrup, peas, carrots, corn, beets, mushrooms, asparagus; peaches, salmon, and sardines, tomatoes, tomato purées, tomato sauces, whole wheat spaghetti, penne, lasagna sheets and other noodles, pickles, vinegar, mustard, low-fat or fat-free salad dressings and mayonnaise, whole grain, cranberries, cherries, blueberries, and raisins, honey, pretzels, low-fat microwave popcorn, whole-grain crackers; sugar-free/fat-free pudding and many others.
Eating low-fat food does not necessarily mean that you give up entirely on fats. There are fats that need to be avoided and there are those that your body needs. You need to identify which fats you need and which that you need to get rid of. Fat provides linoleic acid which is an essential fatty acid for growth, healthy skin, and metabolism. Linoleic acid also helps to absorb fat-soluble vitamins. You need to remember that for a low-fat diet, apart from the food intake, it helps much if you do some exercise as well as for a better result.
